Why Prostate Enlargement Always Leads To Renal Failure

  • Lifestyle and Health Factors
  1. URINARY OBSTRUCTION: An enlarged prostate can compress the urethra, making it difficult to urinate. This can cause a back-up of urine, leading to increased pressure in the bladder.
  2. BLADDER DAMAGE: Over time, the increased pressure can cause the bladder to become overworked and less efficient, leading to bladder damage and decreased ability to empty completely.
  3. KIDNEY DAMAGE: If the bladder cannot empty properly, urine can back up into the kidneys, causing hydronephrosis (swelling of the kidneys) and renal failure.
