Okanle Vita Ulce Redo is a herbal medication for the treatment of duodenal and gastric ulcers.
It contains the active ingredients Pencil Cactus and the roots of Parquetina Nigrescens.
Pencil Cactus has a bactericidal activity for the eradication of helicobacter pylori, which is the causative organism for most ulcers and Parquetina Nigrescens inhibits the inflammation and pains associated with ulcers, thus ensuring maximal recovery from it.
This product contains natural herbs that have been proven to help heal ulcer wounds.
Elaeis Guineensis leaf extract had potent wound healing capacity as evidenced by better wound closure, improved tissue regeneration at the wound site, and supporting histopathological parameters pertaining to wound healing. Matrix metalloproteinases expression correlated well with the results thus confirming the efficacy of E. guineensis in the treatment of the wound. E. guineensis accelerated wound healing in rats, thus supporting its traditional use. The result of this study suggested that used efficiently, oil palm leaf extract is a renewable resource with wound-healing properties.
